Officer French has been a Full-Time member of the Essex Police Department for 18 years. He has served as one of the Departments Detectives for 8 years. Mike has a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Curry College. Officer French is responsible for criminal investigations, filling out the Uniform Crime Reports, and the collection and recording of Traffic Stop Data Collection Forms. Mike is also the departments Arson Investigator, and is a past president of the Essex Police Benevolent Association. Officer French is a life long resident of Essex, and has been a Call Firefighter/EMT for 23 years.
