Officer Thomas P. Shamshak Jr. joined the Essex Police Department in January of 2007. Officer Shamshak received a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts. He has also worked as a Special State Police Officer in Boston and Lowell. Officer Shamshak is the department's online training administrator and is also responsible for tracking the department's crime data.
